Fall is a hesitant visitor...

The cool of the mornings and the cloud formations hint of fall!  I make sure to grab my sweatshirt as we go out for the morning potty walk.  We then head into the garage to check on the bunnies.  Oakley is often not ready to go in to visit.

My trip to Rural King the other day was so pretty...now to add the colors of the trees!

I had to get another cage and water bottle.  I also added some other goodies.  I want to make pumpkin granola!  And the t-shirt was just funny...seeing that I am adding chickens to my life!  

Velle had her turn at the groomers.

And I came home to my sourdough spilling out of the bowl!  Almost time to bake....one more stretch and fold.

We put together the cage for our newest rabbit so Velle could have her cage back.

Checked the pool...yep, we are done for the season!  BRRRR!

Freshly baked bread...MMMM!  I did a taste test.

Thursday night downstairs...listening to music and meditating...

and I put more cards together.

Friday's drive to Knoxville to be there for our girl...

we are thankful for how God meets every need we have.  Sometimes being an adult is not fun!  Sometimes you have to do the hard thing...not knowing what the outcome will be.  Sometimes God calls you to stand up and be the voice...for others who will follow you.  Every time...God gives an answer right away...Yes, No, or Wait.  We are thankful for answers/solutions that come right away...when that is not what we expected.  His plans are better.

A lunch together to just praise Him for working in all the details of the situation.  It was a nice vacation day for Ted on 9-25-2026.  We enjoyed large sweet teas with a hint of orange to give a donation to the children's hospital in remembrance of Dolly.

Saturday was a beautiful day to be outside!

We got to see some junk left by the previous owner get hauled away by someone who wanted it for the scrap metal.  The tractor came in very handy!

Thank you, Lord, for your provision in all things...small and big!  

I dead-headed zinnias.  There are still many blooms to enjoy!  The plants are liking the sunny, cooler weather.  Two little peppers!  And several more tomatoes are coming!

A good day's work!  The bunnies are off the floor.

I was able to mow for Ted, so he could build the stands.

Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus

More than we could ask or think...

We just had to wait six and a half months!  We knew God would take care of all the details.  We thought things would continue to happen quickly, but God chose to slow things down after the first few details were accomplished to get us to Tennessee.

Looking back...His timing was better!  Less stressful as Ted works many hours in a stressful environment.  He is seeing good changes come about, but the road isn't easy.  This Yankee is teaching the hillbillies how to treat people!  And if you don't treat people as you ought, you are held accountable...doesn't matter how long you have been here.  "Do the right thing!" is the motto he is challenging all of the people to follow.  It is a biblical principle...and it works in our homes and in our jobs.  The Book of Proverbs continues to be our guidebook for the daily life situations we face!

Closing day got a little bumpy.  Cleaning day was heartbreaking.  Moving day was bittersweet.  But God sent our children to gather around us and help us.  He gave beautiful weather.  He gave safety to the movers and our family.  And now...we are taking the time to just be here and enjoy all He has done...in His perfect time and way.

 

Walk through and Closing on our new house

How do you prepare for a move-in?  Cabinet liners, mop, drinks, TP, paper towels, and pain meds!

When we got to the house for the final walk-through before heading to closing...things were NOT wrapped up on the seller's side.

Things got pretty tense...

Our realtor didn't know what to do...and the other realtor was being dishonest and shady.

They knew the closing date for a month!

Garbage...

Everything was so dirty and lots of junk left.

It was very discouraging...and we considered our options...

Our realtor stayed at the house as a pre-caution as we headed to closing.  We signed all the papers and headed back to the house to change locks and prepare for the dogs and I to come clean on Thursday.

I picked up dog poop and garbage out of the yard.  Ted changed the locks and checked things out.

The day was a little bumpy, but God helped us maneuver through the process.  We are now home owners in Tennessee.

 

I did it!!!

I started last Thursday taking the class for ESL teaching.  I chose a company that was known worldwide and accredited.

I spent 120 hours going through all the material.  It was all reading with quizzes throughout each module.

The final test was 65 questions.  I passed with a 98.46% on the first try!  I was so excited.

I am now ready for the next step that God has for me.  Ted has details to iron out.  And I need some of my teaching tools that are buried in storage.
