A vacation day for Ted

We spent a leisurely morning on the deck catching the morning light rays.  Ted fielded phone calls, texts, and emails.  Yes...the title of this post is "A vacation day for Ted".  He took an approved vacation day, yet, didn't really vacation at all.  I guess, he just had a more comfortable setting to do his work!  Uff da!  To him...it is just how it is as a plant manager and how he has income.  To me...it is disrespectful because the same guys that were bugging him would not do the same if they were on vacation.
We escaped for a drive to the John Deere store and for lunch at a yummy BBQ place in Greenville, TN.
Still taking care of business in between...
We shared a platter of 3 meats and 3 sides.  It was fantastic!
We stopped at Bulls Gap Custom Meats to load up our freezer and get ready to do some smoking.
Velle was ready for Dad to sit down in his chair with her.  Between all the work stuff, Ted did get to relax a little!  And he did a few things that he wanted to do!
