No matter where we may roam...

A beautiful, clear, fall Monday morning to drive north again.
No traffic!  It was a great day to travel home...after the rush of the weekend!
We stopped in Richmond, Kentucky!  It was a delicious stop!
Sharing a peanut butter Buccee treat!
It got colder!  We hit Michigan...no snow.
We got by the Detroit airport...a little dusting of snow.
We got to Novi...a couple inches of snow!
And home by 4:45pm!  Winter has arrived in Michigan!

There's no place like home!
It was actually blustery and very cold later!  Ohhhhh...we are not mentally ready for this yet!

Sunday in TN

We like Sundays in the south!  Good music and driving to church with the mountains in view...
met the big kids at church.  My heart was full of thankfulness that we had time together again.  I don't ever want to take these moments for granted!
We appreciate the truth shared from God's Word by Pastor Rocky.

Teddy picked out the place for Sunday dinner.  "Mom, we are going here because they have fried pickles and they are good!'
Yes, sir!  You done picked a great spot!  Everything was yummy...at Wild Boar Tavern.
Oh, look!  Teddy's sign!

Conversation and coffee...
And more crocheting!  I think I got it down!
Sunday evening with the family

Saying "Thank you and Goodbye" to our hard-working kids as they get ready for their Monday.  Ashlynn was finally over her bronchitis and fevers that kept her out of work for four days.

"Velle, are you ready to go home tomorrow?" Um, are Teddy and Ashlynn coming?  "No, not till Christmas!"

Lazy Saturday

My girl made me look beautiful with a great hair trim at her salon.  Ashlynn had to work on Saturday.  I forgot to take a picture.  Ted and I had restful morning and then headed over to Teddy and Alisa.

Wild strawberry plant outside the door.
Puppies loving all the space to roam and explore.
A coffee treat delivered by the girls!  Time to just be together was refreshing.

Black Friday fun

Quiet morning with my coffee...
The lovely screened in porch and neat antiques!

My chauffeurs picked me up and we went to a couple stores.  "We are not going to a lot of places...it is too peopley out here today!"
My girls thought this would be a good purchase!  Oof! "It is shimmery and look at the fuzzy on the sleeves!"
Back home to nap and craft!
A favorite holiday drink!

My crochet teacher!  She taught me to do a granny square!
Only a thousand more to make a sweater!
What the guys did...?  They left early in the morning and went to Windrock to do all the guy stuff!  Four wheeling and shooting!

Got mud?!  Oh yes they did!
Beautiful views!
Teddy proved to be the fearless leader and problem solver when the map lead them onto some diamond trails that made their hearts race.

Safely off the trails with no casualties to the gun range!  A fun time doing all the manly stuff!
