Since I have to work on the computer in the morning while Teddy "works" on his...and must be supervised...I am having fun playing around with the different features of Blogger and clips from this summer. Please enjoy the variety shows! After a busy few weeks of prepping for school and various other responsibilities, this has been some good
"down time" for me, yet still profitable! (Honey, I have a load of clothes washing and one drying as I sit here.) hee hee
I must admit...I like having just one child for awhile in the mornings...
it gives the nerves a chance to regroup and re-energize for the rest of the day!
Today, Grandma called and asked us to meet her at
Dunkin Donuts for coffee...for my birthday! Thanks, Mom for the yummy donut and coffee and chit-chat! I will enjoy the new Lori Wick book while using the neat light gadget for reading in bed!!!
That's my mother-in-law...always finds something to make a job easier or something more convenient! (She laughed at me trying to hold a flashlight and read in bed, so as not to bother my beloved with the wall light.) I also have a new apron to wear while cooking with the girls! I will have to get a pic of all of us in our matching cooking garb! (The Three Little Tacks and How They Cooked! We could launch our own cooking show...host, Miss Alisa...and of course, we would start with dessert!)
I also have some money to spend and a
DQ gift card...
mocha moolatte, here I come! Thanks, Mom and Dad!
You know what your daughter likes! My mother was kind enough to remind me how old I was! It is not as exciting as it once was...bigger numbers loom ahead...but I am thankful to be alive and in good health! (Mental health to be debated at a later time.)
