Our van is learning the way to Crown! Teddy has been our great chauffeur through the mountains. On this day...Friday, August 28...we girls drove ourselves down the winding roads to Crown for the opening of the dorms and check-in!
Waiting in line to check in makes us crazy...
prolongs the anxious feelings...
and brings out the impatience...BUT MOM WAS RIGHT! We waited 20 minutes and were at the front of a VERY LONG LINE. We just had fun together.

We are so doing coffee after this check-in and lugging all the stuff into the dorm! We dropped everything off and ran...ok...drove to DD for cold drinks because it was so hot and humid. We then did our Walmart run with several other Crown families. And then we went back to unpack and get things settled before meeting up with the rest of our fam for supper and meeting on campus.
One girl...a pro. One girl...new to the scene.

Dad...always making his girls laugh! We had a yummy southern bbq supper on campus and then all met together for an opening meeting. The girls stayed on campus Friday night to get settled and hang out with friends...plus...they had an early morning meeting.
