Hollywood Studios

Oh...was it hard to get up and get going today (Thursday)!  Ashlynn got sick about 3:15am and Ted and I never really fell back to sleep...waiting for another bout...that never came.  PTL!
Shuttle bus to get to the park to meet Uncle Robert and Aunt Sara at 10:00am.  Thanks, guys, for being willing to meet "a little later"!
A cool morning...perfect for the Backlot Tour!

Watching how explosions are made in movies.

Interesting to see the props and techniques used...
and feeling the heat from the explosions.
 Watching the Stunt Show...
with 10 thousand other park attenders.
 Fascinating!
We did it!  We rode the Tower of Terror.
We were in the back row...I laughed the whole time.  Robert shouted.  Teddy grimaced.  The three other girls...were terrified...and aren't interested in going again.
 We survived.
The girls and I went to see the Little Mermaid show while everyone else went on the roller coaster.  Had a little snack to help us get through till supper time...which will be late!
 Another beautiful day!

They survived the roller coaster...and were ready for a snack...while we waited for the Indiana Jones Stunt Show.
Robert tried his very best to get picked as an extra!

 Pretty cool!
We said "Goodbye" to Robert and Sara at the hat...and headed to the Toy Story ride.
The sign said "50 minute wait time"...that won't be so bad...
um...yeah...it was 75 minutes...standing...at the end of our second day...oi!
It was fun.  Short.  But fun.
Standing in line for our Mickey Ear snack...Hey, guys, look at me...the roller coaster sign is behind you.
Another snack as we headed into the stadium for our last show of the night...Fantasmic.

The sheer number of people that eventually filed in was unbelievable!

Waiting for the shuttle bus to head back to the resort...so we can get some supper!
Even after 10:00pm...we still could all choose yummy food that we were hungry for!  It was busy with people returning from the parks...looking for something to eat and a place to sit down!

Another big day...filled with interesting people and their interesting behavior!  We are all looking forward to sleeping in in the morning!!!  And I have two blisters that are incredibly huge and painful...it was so nice to sit down!

The Magic Kingdom

Catching the shuttle bus to the most magical place on earth.  Yep, they have no idea what they are in for!
We got there to watch Casey Junior coming down the track with all our favorite characters to open the park for the day...8:45am

And we are in...with a few little sprinkles...
We stopped to see two of the princesses...just to say we did it.

We had to do "It's A Small World" ride!
So many rides...not too much waiting...enjoying a variety of shows, rides, snacks, and more rides.
A yummy lunch in a little portico...a good place to watch the 3:00pm parade.

Colorful floats with all the characters...

The amazing sea of people after the parade...so we ducked into the Country Bear Jamboree per Ashlynn's choice.
The three kiddos climbed through the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse...cool.
 The Tikki Room...
A beautiful afternoon...turned early evening...waiting for Uncle Robert and Aunt Sara to join us.

 A pleasant sight in March!

Waiting for the electrical parade and fireworks to close the night out!

A long, long day...a shuttle bus ride back to our resort.  We enjoyed all the sights and sounds of the Magic Kingdom.  We didn't enjoy being rammed by strollers and rude people who pushed and shoved with the "Me First" attitude.  It was an eye-opening experience for our children who also didn't appreciate the behavior they had to endure too.  We were told that the Magic Kingdom is the most magical and happiest place on earth...I think some families and small children didn't get that same information!  If magic and happiness sounds like arguing, bickering, whining, and crying...we have had our fill for a very long time...well, at least till tomorrow...we'll hit Hollywood Studios.
