Thanksgiving 2019 in the mountains of North Carolina

Headed south...
we picked up Ashlynn from college early on Wednesday morning!  Then had time to be lazy and head to the grocery store before driving to our cabin sweet cabin in Robbinsville, NC.

Released...to rest...to relax...to refresh!

Dad and Mom got to rest in Minnesota for a few days!

And then they made their way to Michigan to spend two weeks with us!  It was so nice to have them here to just take time to rest and recover!
 Family around the table!

 Watching the boys play basketball!
Sleeping and cuddling with the puppies!
 Resting and watching and puzzling!
 More resting!
Another game before they headed back south to a warmer climate!

Here we go...daughter number two signing up for classes!

Alisa is enrolled for next semester's college online courses!  I cannot believe we are to this point with her now!

A November trip to Minnesota

Boys played in the MACS state soccer tournament...

and we screamed and yelled like crazy!  The boys lost 2 to 0 to Juniata.  They were disappointed but they played well even with all the changes thrown at them.

Teddy is a crazy at the pep rally...
and he has some pretty nice fans.

The school schedule of life...

is in full swing and proves to be very exhausting at times!
Teddy is keeping busy with soccer practice and games!

Every once in awhile he comes out of the goal box to play on the field.
We like to date to the games and spend time together!  Enjoying the change in Ted's job...not as much traveling right now!
And...this happened today...trying on the gowns...oh my!  Our Senior meeting is tomorrow night!
And we all miss our Ashlynn...so she gets fun pictures like this sometimes!

Poor Baby!

First Day of School 2019...another SENIOR YEAR!!!

Our girlie is a SENIOR!  We are praying for a great year for her.  She has worked hard keeping two jobs going all summer long.  We have been researching and planning and searching and saving for her future plans.  Alisa does a great job with children!  God has given her a heart and a talent for working with little ones.
Teddy is our junior!  This is my 5th year in Kindergarten.  Alisa is our Senior!
So many details to make the first day of school memorable!
And a daughter who bought us coffee on our first day!
Flowers from a new family.  Yummy chocolate chip banana bread from another family.  I'm already spoiled!
I love Facebook snapshots that show up!
First day of school game...ended in a tie!

Taking Teddy's number one fan to supper at Chinese Delight in Howell.
My first day went as I feared...we had some difficulty with one and another one who wanted to follow...so this made me laugh at the end of the day!  I used the ducks for counting to 10...I moved two of them to show that they were definitely not all in a row...and I have 12 students...but you get the picture!  I'm thankful that God gives wisdom when we don't have any.  I'm thankful for co-workers who help in hard situations.  I'm thankful for friends with a fun sense of humor.  I'm thankful for a husband who says, "It will be all right....it will all work out!  Trust God!"
I'm thankful we did the hard stuff when our children were little...because now that they are older...they can cooperate with others in many different situations.
