Time together...as we get ready to start Teddy's Senior Year
Sunrise...Teddy made fun of me that I would never see it while we were here at Hubbard Lake for the weekend. Well...HE WAS WRONG! He forgot about the dogs...who felt they needed to get up at 7:00am to go potty. No problem...they cuddled up with Teddy after the outside excursion.
Such a gorgeous way to start the day...
and the coffee never tasted better!
Watching Beethoven...which made me laugh!
This place reminded me of Lake Nebagamon...it brought me to tears! It was the perfect spot for a spur of the moment get away for Labor Day weekend. We will keep this place on our do again list! The Bay View Resort.
Spaghetti for supper...
Fishing off the dock...
Kayaks...campfires...sunsets...
Chilly day called for apple crisp and sweatshirts...
Teddy drove me to "town" to the store...and I had to get spice drops as a memories continued to hit.
Even the windows opened the same way!
I cuddled up in bed and read and napped...with cuddly puppies.
A trip to find a local ice cream place in another small town...The Dairy Barn.
Dreams of a cabin on the lake hit us both...
a step back in time for me...
a place of rest and quiet for him...
adventures for everyone...
Annnnd the trip back home down 75 south with hundreds of other Michigan families who enjoyed the north country! Some ventured to the west side...this time...we ventured to the east side and found we really liked it!
Chica loves her Teddy in the van!
Pulling out the school supplies and making a list of things he will need...but this year...he will not have it all on the first day of school...because...I was THAT mom this year AND he said he didn't need anything! Senior year...and the only supplies that we need to buy...spiral notebook paper, folder, 2 boxes Kleenex, 100 plastic spoons, and 8 oz of hand sanitizer.
Senior and Kindergarten year...
It looks a little different this year...but we are both so glad that we can be in school doing in person learning and teaching!
Our boy...our goalie...
Meanwhile...down in TN...our girls are doing just fine! I love getting picture updates and seeing smiles.
And in K5...my 15 friends are already making me laugh and work hard! So thankful for the people that God puts in our life to teach us and to encourage us.
