Extra time to go galavanting and time to crash and crochet!
Not sure about Santa!
You talking to me?
Driving through the hills of TN to see Christmas lights...
had several of us ready to get out of the van! We were able to eat INSIDE a Cracker Barrel!
It was comfy and cozy. Not what we originally going for...local BBQ place was closed...but it was good.
These big kids made us laugh. We miss them when they are not with us...but it is neat to see them spread their wings and begin to fly.
Two very tired college girls are in those covers somewhere!
Looking to see what else Momma put in the bag.
We had enough leftovers to send the girls back with supper for their Saturday night together...and we brought some turkey and gravy home. I think I am figuring it all out! Thanksgiving in Tennessee is our new favorite thing to do! There is something about the mountains and the smell of the leaves.
We left Saturday after we checked out of the house...and there were tears from the girls...all three of us! We are on to our new countdown...12 days till Christmas break!
It was a beautiful sunny day for travel. Dad drove the whole way home...and thankfully...Chica handled the trip home a little better.
We watched a pretty sunset and watched the almost full moon rise. We made it home by 6pm. Once again...I am so thankful for opportunities that God gives us as a family. He provided a safe trip for us. He is watching over our college girls. He has reminded us that He is in complete control...and we will continue to trust Him for our tomorrows!
