The day was chilly and gray outside...but warm, smooth, and dark inside!
Question...How does one get a chocolate-covered marshmallow in one's mouth and
NOT get chocolate all over? Answer...
you don't!
Our pastor's wife came down with a dreadful case of "Chocolate Fever" and the girls helped get over it!
The Lord gave me the idea for a
chocolate themed day, the words from a shower gel/lotion gift set I received labeled
Simple Pleasures, a song by the Marshall family entitled
The Glory of Your Presence, and the verse found in
Psalm 16:11. We truly enjoyed the simple pleasures God gives us...of course, chocolate...but also, family, friends, food, laughter, music, and God's Word. We had 107 ladies and girls that attended. The men of our church did a fantastic job serving and cleaning up for us. A couple in our church planned and prepared the meal with help from my father and mother-in-law...and they did a fabulous job!
