All I know is...that I wouldn't have been very happy being held up before thousands of people that early in the morning...in the cold...just to have crazy men in top hats tell everyone I saw my shadow...when we all know there are many weeks left in this season we call winter!
Our children asked after watching this "exciting news event" how the groundhog could tell the men he saw his shadow...they don't talk! How do you explain that this is what they do and it makes no sense...oh, never mind...it was too deep of a thought process for this Mommy on a Monday. Ted is probably still laughing at me. I am just going to drink another cup of coffee!
