Every year, on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, there is a lighted Christmas parade that goes right by our church. It was a balmy evening with no choir practice...so we made it a family outing. We had a perfect place to park...along with the rest of the Park citizens! It was fun for the kids...our favorite...the firemen reindeer pulling the sleigh...but my camera doesn't take pics of moving lights as you can tell below...even walking was too fast! It made me laugh...throwing candy at masses of people in the dark...but the kids filled their pockets full to overflowing!
Don't worry...we stopped at the van to empty everyone's pockets before heading into church...we smelled minty fresh from the candy canes!
