God is still God in the valley! "...that's when faith is really put to the test...And the God on the mountain is still God in the valley...When things go wrong...He'll make them right. And the God of the good times...is still God in the bad times...the God of the day is still God in the night!"He never changes! He is always there! He loves us! He knows what is best! We are holding fast to those important truths!
We had the opportunity to sit with a Mom and Dad in their valley at the PICU last night. Ted understands this valley better than I ever could...because he has walked part of it. It is scary to see what lays in that valley. I watched my husband bravely sit and minister to people in that very valley that we will all someday be called to walk...and my heart swelled with love for a man whose heart reached out to those parents. We shared with them that he knew what their little girl was fighting...poor lungs, pneumonia, constant fighting...yet he could still say in prayer...God is in control...and we will trust Him for His perfect will. Continue to pray for little Whitney's parents as they keep vigil at the hospital...and for God's grace for each of them!
