The sun and warm weather are bringing all the sights and sounds of spring. I love sitting on the deck in the morning listening to the birds. A friend recommended an app and now I know all the different types of birds singing happily on this side of the mountain.
Northern Cardinal, house finch, American robin, Carolina wren, blue-gray gnatcatcher, Eastern phoebe, Carolina chickadee, Tufted titmouse, mourning dove, blue jay, Eastern towhee, American crow, downy woodpecker, red-bellied woodpecker, song sparrow, Eastern bluebird, and counting!
