The kids played downstairs while I tutored this morning and when they came up...they saw the
"fun" thing we were doing! So...we got out two more pans and they played in the cornmeal...till Mommy had an idea for a
snack!
Measuring, pouring, mixing, and bickering over whose turn it was next...and out came some yummy corn muffins! Of course, we used cornmeal out of the other container!!! And saved what didn't end up on the floor for the next time!
We practiced our letters...cause you know...school starts soon.
"Mom, I think we need some more butter!" Uh, no, you used the whole stick...and only four muffins were left out of 24! (I ate a couple too)
