Another request for a campfire

It is amazing how clean our yard gets when the kids want to have a fire!  They fill up the wagon with sticks to feed the fire!
Marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate are also important parts!
It is a perfect way to get rid of boxes and mail that you don't want to go into the trash!
And...when you hear yourself say things like, "Uh, glowing embers of orange...on the ground, end of the stick, in the fire pit...mean fire...and could burn you...watch out.  Sit down.  Quit waving your stick.  Do you have to sit so closely to each other?"...you know it is time to be done for the evening.  They usually do pretty well...but last night...safety wasn't really a concern of theirs...and this Mom finally had to speak up.  I couldn't take "a poke in the eye with a burning stick" last night.  It had been a pretty eventful day...and I had lost the rest of my nerves when Alisa's blood was drawn earlier!  Moms can only handle so much in one day.
