We didn't blow away! Two lawn chairs tipped over...but they are plastic...so, it really doesn't count. It was windy...but not bad. We still have leaves on the trees. We didn't lose power...not even a flicker. I wonder if we were in a pocket where the winds weren't as bad??? Out where Ted works, a port-a-john for a construction site was blown across the mall parking lot.
Many people did lose power due to downed lines and trees/branches. We didn't lose Chevy when he had to go outside...so we fared quite well.
Now the cold has moved in...and we have had to turn on the heat for awhile in the morning. We have donned our sweaters and socks...autumn has moved in to stay! I think I shall cut up apples for the crockpot today to keep that cozy, warm smelling feeling in the house.
