We just had to wait six and a half months! We knew God would take care of all the details. We thought things would continue to happen quickly, but God chose to slow things down after the first few details were accomplished to get us to Tennessee.
Looking back...His timing was better! Less stressful as Ted works many hours in a stressful environment. He is seeing good changes come about, but the road isn't easy. This Yankee is teaching the hillbillies how to treat people! And if you don't treat people as you ought, you are held accountable...doesn't matter how long you have been here.
"Do the right thing!" is the motto he is challenging all of the people to follow. It is a biblical principle...and it works in our homes and in our jobs. The Book of Proverbs continues to be our guidebook for the daily life situations we face!
Closing day got a little bumpy. Cleaning day was heartbreaking. Moving day was bittersweet. But God sent our children to gather around us and help us. He gave beautiful weather. He gave safety to the movers and our family. And now...we are taking the time to just be here and enjoy all He has done...in His perfect time and way.
